There’s So Much Here For You!
Much has been written about the construction of the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center since Quincy was first chosen as the recipient of $40 million toward the effort. The buzz surrounding the facility has steadily increased as the community has speculated exactly what venues would be included in the center.
Several years of planning have gone by with various changes taking place in design and leadership, however the core values and purpose of this venture remain the same, keeping with the mission of The Salvation Army. The RJKCCC is committed to producing tangible outcomes that will change lives and rebuild souls of the people of Quincy. In addition, we are committed to our “three I’s”: Inspire, Instruct, and Involve.
The Kroc Center is starting to see the finishing touches added to the building. Many of the floors are being finished, and the swimming pool and slide are well underway. The grand opening and dedication date is set for September 18th, and the building will be a spectacular draw to the downtown area.
Families, children, men & women, and seniors from all walks of life and every part of the area can look forward to enjoying the Kroc Center and being inspired, instructed, and involved through recreation, fellowship, and education.
Watch for continued updates and pray for God’s blessing!
