The Hannibal Salvation Army recently received a $2,500 grant from the Riedel Foundation to help purchase food for this year’s Christmas food boxes.

The George H. Riedel Private Foundation was established in the year 2000. He and his father served as Directors for F&M Bank and Trust Company for over 90 years. The purpose of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life in the city of Hannibal, Missouri.

This December, The Salvation Army expects to distribute at least 525 food boxes in the Hannibal area.
