The Salvation Army offers a variety of character building programs for youth.  Below is a description of the programs for every age group.

Corps Cadets (Teen spiritual development)

The overall purpose of Corps Cadets is to prepare young people for a lifelong commitment to spiritual growth and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to find ways to serve God through The Salvation Army.  This group meets every Sunday at 11:15am.

 Kidz Klub

Kidz Klub is an after school program that meets every Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and includes open gym and recreation and snacks for the children, followed by a fun time of singing and an exciting video program.  All kids in grades 1-6 have a great time and are encouraged to bring their friends!

 Sunbeams and Adventure Corps

Sunbeams and Adventure Corps are for girls and boys in grades 1-6.  They meet every Thursday following Kidz Klub from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  These programs are similar to Brownies and Cub Scouts, but with a Christian emphasis.  Children earn badges, do activities, take exciting field trips and perform service projects for the community.

 Girl Guards and "Just Guys"

Girl Guards and "Just Guys" is for young people in grades 7-12.  They meet on Wednesday from 6:0-7:00 p.m.  The Girl Guard program is similar to the Girl Scout program, but with a Christian emphasis.  Girls earn badges, perform community service projects, make regular visits to nursing homes and learn leadership skills.  "Just Guys" provides recreational programming including basketball, kickball, flag football and other organized events.  Both of these programs are a great way to meet new friends and have fun!
