Thrift Store

GREAT MERCHANDISE! / GREAT PRICES!
The Salvation Army Thrift Store offers clothing, household furnishings and a variety of other items at affordable prices.  Money raised through the sale of items helps provide funding for our social service programs.  For individuals and families in need who are unable to afford to purchase items they need, these items will be provided at no cost.  Contact our Family Services office if this assistance is needed.

DONATIONS
Clean, reusable items can be donated by dropping them off at the front of the thrift store during business hours.  Pickup service is available by appointment on Tuesday and Thursday for larger items.  Call the Thrift Store to arrange an appointment at (217) 224-5998.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteer opportunities are available at the store.  Help is always needed and welcomed!  Call the Thrift Store manager, Scott Andrews, and ask how you can help.

THRIFT STORE VOUCHERS
The Thrift Store has vouchers available to help less fortunate children in area schools.  A supply of vouchers is provided to each school and the principal and teachers give these $25 vouchers to needy families at their discretion.  Families can then use the vouchers at The Salvation Army Thrift Store for clothing for their child.
